End of semester

Today is a big day for me I finished my exam session. My results are quite well and I will not pay a tuition fee. My results:

English in Computer Science – 10;
Operations Research – 9;
Automatons and Formal Languages Theory – 10;
Software Engineering – 9;
Computer Architecture – 9;
Concurrent programming – 9.

Next semester I will study at Aalborg University in Denmark. After that my average grade probably will decrease. But my aim is to have average assessment >= 8 in evaluation system based on 10.

New year starting with news today. We got snow. White color dominating all around and I couldn’t miss this chance to take a camera and go outside. It was a little bit cold: -13 today. But everything passed fine – i got some nice photos and here is one of them

Homework with MPI

We studying “Concurent programming” and everyone have to implement diferent algorithm in c++ language, using MPI. My algorithm is “Bucket sort”. I think this one isn’t difficult, but make it work on cluster there is work to do.

I’m trying to understand what the computer wants from me all this evening, but unfortunately unsuccessfully.. Maybe someone could help me with this? I will post source if it will be needed.

Improve your English

Tonight i was doing my mundane activity (learning at the university stuff, browsing the internet) and I decided to improve my english skills. I have read some articles how to do it, one of the advice how to learn english effectively was to use english everywhere. That I will try to do.

Few words about my english level. I think it isn’t so bad, i’m watching films in english, reading an articles on the internet, but i don’t feel I know it well. Basically I would like to learn a lot more words, that I could manage express myself, especially in information technology field, to communicate well. Don’t hesitate and post a comment if you think my sentence structure is bad, there are bad words, or you seeing other mistakes.

So for this time I’m finished, I’ll come back with more interesting stories

Šiandien sužinojau, kad darbe buvo apsilankęs “slaptas pirkėjas” (tai toks daiktas kur tikrina, kaip žmonės dirba aptarnavimo sektoriuje). Mane šį kartą nudžiugino, nes gavau 100% Aš vis galvodavau, kad atpažinsiu kuris tas pirkėjas netikras, bet pasirodo klydau ir net neatsimenu kaip jis atrodė.

Ši žinia man pakėlė ūpą ir su ta sąlyga susikūriau šį wordpress blogą
